Common Materials for Peristaltic Pump Tubing
From the working principle of peristaltic pumps, it is easy to see that using a peristaltic pump requires specialized peristaltic pump tubing. Without the tubing, the pump cannot perform its intended function. The material of the tubing used varies depending on the nature of the liquid being pumped.
Common peristaltic pump tubing is divided into domestic and imported types:
Domestic tubing, also known as domestic silicone tubing, is white and semi-transparent. Common imported tubing includes Pharmed BPT, A-60-F, VITON, and CHEMICAL types.
