What classification does a peristaltic pump belong to?
There is no very clear classification of peristaltic pumps so far. According to user needs, they are usually recognized as laboratory instruments or filling machines.
It consists of three parts: the driver, the pump head, and the hose, all of which are indispensable. The driver is powered by electricity or air. During the transportation process, the fluid is isolated within the pump tube and only passes through the hose, without any contact with the outside, making it a relatively safe type of pump. Peristaltic pumps allow for quick hose replacement, offering unique advantages in avoiding cross-contamination and facilitating fluid changes.
